absolutely electrifying presence on stage. classy interaction with audience. wonderful camaraderie between musicians and star. best concert ever! (ok the first one ive been to so obviously it's the best...but that's not the point)
En-Li is no longer a concert virgin!!!!( YES it's true. I've never been to a concert in my life)
made my way to Birmingham with the bigbro in UK a.k.a Jermyn after our last minute decision to go and see Michael Buble.
"eh Michael Buble tomorrow wei! I wanna go!!!!"

The opening act, naturally 7 was superb as well. I was sitting there thinking wow if this is the opening act Michael has to be freaking good to top it lor...and he wass...

its an accapella team btw. all the sounds youre hearing are made by them. Wah. I was dumbstruck. And so was Jer, being the guitar lover he is. He couldn't wait for the "lead guitarist" to "play". It sounded so damn real that for a moment I was looking around the stage for the guitar.Serious Shyte no joke.
Buble.Buble Buble. No wonder people love him. He sang so many songs I can't remember what he sang and what he didn't. Unlike other international stars, who come on stage lookin annoyed and singing 3 measly songs before stomping off stage, he came back for an encore, singing and impersonating Elvis Presley, and ending with YMCA (that got the audience dancing). Brilliant singer, superb performer.
There was also the part where there was a little "skit" where Michael ( wah on first name basis dy) pretended to go off in a huff because after all, he's a diva, and one of the trombonists took over the stage for a song. LOL. So funny la i tell you.
I really loved every bit of the show...And I'm not being a nut by saying that it was a good concert because Jer's been to tons and HE said it was good. So screw you Buble haters:P
People in London, try to catch him if you can....truly worth it.

Fri?- Gerald's Bday at ChinaRed. No darn pics damn it. Nat got drunkkkk:D. I didnt!whooopeee! had JD and coke, Half a shot of Vodka, and an ENTIRE sambucca all by myselfff!!!and I was still standing...and not high!!I think it's only beer tht gets me wonky. Dragged a rather drunk Zhiyang back..(repaying the fave la) he had five shots of vodka all at once and more stuff..Sang tons of karaoke songs...Spice Girls, Savage Garden, BSB....all the songs u can think of...oh and that sha la la song from Vengaboys which is still stuck in my headd.
Sat? -Slept in their place till about 2 (!!) and then went over to City Arms to grab a bite....then watched A Walk To Remember with Zhiyang (who was making perverse comments about Mandy Moore; along with judgments about her right and left profiles-.-) and Gerald (who was pretty emo at first before Zhiyang got to him - at that point,he concluded that EnLi has a fetish for sick people like wthh, and Landon married Jaime because he wanted to have sex with her.That spoilt the sweetness of the last scene la im just saying) and Ping (who agreed wholeheartedly that sweet guys are extinct).Went home to campus..and got dragged out again for poker night in their place...which ended up with Ian getting "high" on "DOTA" lols. We played ChiKuPang(??) till about 4am in the morning and slept till 1 the next day.
Sun? - Washed their kitchen [nightmare I tell you]. Had yoghurt and rice krispies for dinner.Mnite meeting.Walked back in the COLD. Sitting in front of comp cursing Zhiyang for taking my John Grisham book and forgetting to give it back to me. So now I have nothing to read.Pah.
.....Notice that "reading law" does not come in ANYWHERE.
Screwed.
nevertheless.I had fun.
Its back to competitive seminars and uber boring lectures now.

I missed the law social today (in retrospect I should've gone since he was gonna be there) for a girl's night in with Katie and Clara. We watched Emma and then Little Mermaid...and then danced to High School Musical and thennnnnn did Dirty Pop(NSync) and Everybody (BSB)... Fun night.
Law is piling up.
